Welcome To The Nahant Town Class Association Website

Statement of Purpose
The Nahant Town Class Association was formed on September 1, 2022.
The Association’s purpose is to preserve, promote and encourage participation in Town Class sailing and Town Class fleet racing in Nahant, Massachusetts.

The Association will strive to fulfill its purpose in several ways:

-Be a local resource and support for prospective new boat owners

-Hold meetings, seminars, and other presentations about sailing, racing, boat ownership maintenance, repair and other subjects related to the Town Class

-Act as a central resource for information about the Town Class activities on a local and National level by representing and coordinating activities of the fleet at National Town Class Association meetings and events

-Provide outreach to past Town Class owners and sailors for their participation to gather input and shared experiences to help preserve the rich history the Town Class has enjoyed and continues to enjoy in Nahant

- Maintain a website to share information, activities and history of the Association
