National Town Class Association
“Friday Classic” and the 63rd National Championship Regatta
Friday, August 15th - Saturday and Sunday August 16th and 17th, 2025
The Nahant Dory Club is pleased to welcome skippers, crew and friends to the National Town Class Association's 2025 National Regatta event. There will be two (2) separate events during the three (3) days of racing. Friday there will be (1) race, the “Friday Classic”. The regatta will consist of (5) races, (3) races Saturday and (2) races Sunday.
The NTCA Annual Business Meeting and other events are also planned.
Membership in the National Town Class Association is required of all entrants. Yachts and competitors will be declared eligible upon acceptance of official entry form and appropriate fees. Online registration is available at:

“Friday Classic” Race
A special race event is planned for Friday August 19th.
This race will feature a classic Dory Club patio start and a "local" marks only course. Keep that chart handy!
The "Friday Classic" race format will also include the option of our traditional “boat swap”.
All yachts and competitors entered in the National Championships are encouraged to compete!
Additional instructions and certain "local knowledge" will be dispensed at the skippers meeting!
National Championship Regatta
A maximum of five races are planned for this National Championship series,
a minimum of three races are required to constitute the official regatta.
The Town Class Championship Trophy and individual prizes will be awarded for each race and the overall regatta.

Food and Drink
A Light Breakfast will be available on Saturday and Sunday
Water and Snacks will be provided throughout the weekend.
Friday Night's dinner will be Pizza and Salad.
We are excited to have Bent Water Brewery join us on Friday night!
Please plan to Bring Your Lunches for Saturday and Sunday on the water lunch breaks.
Water and Snacks will be available in the Clubhouse before the Harbor Start each day.
Saturday's Dinner will feature a wonderful meal by Nahant's own Chef Peter Davis!
Rumson's Rum will also be on hand to provide some of its favorites to our evening dinner.
